Colors Are The Key To Happiness
Colors. The sensation of colors from nature, perfumes, cities, movies, characters from books and people all provide me with the opportunity to draw upon the inspiration of my paintings. That is why I mostly paint abstract; it allows me to express myself in a way that words cannot.
Every color I use is to express an emotion, a mood, a state of mind that displays what it means to be human, to be unique, to be alive. With the brush in my hand, I am more alive and happy. I like to see my paintings come to life in front of my eyes and tell a story. I describe my art as gentle, happy, uplifting, cheerful adding a little bit of magic in every painting that I do.
This is why I love to paint.
Bio
Sveta Hessler was born in Yoshkar-Ola, Russia, where her journey into the world of art began at a very early age. Surrounded by the vibrant sounds of her parents and grandmother singing, dancing, and playing traditional instruments like the guitar and balalaika, she grew up immersed in a rich tapestry of creativity. These childhood experiences have shaped and influenced her artistic expression, infusing her work with rhythm, movement, and emotion.

In 1999, Sveta earned her degree in Social Psychology from the University of Moscow Social-Psychology, but her passion for creativity never diminished and only grew stronger. After moving to the United States, she pursued a degree in Cosmetology from the College of San Mateo in 2008. Yet, despite these achievements, her true calling was always art, leading her on a path to becoming the painter that she is today.

Today, Sveta is a self-taught artist with over seventeen years of experience. Throughout her journey, she has explored, experimented, and evolved her craft, developing a distinctive style that is uniquely her own. Her art is characterized by bold, vibrant colors and rich, layered textures, drawing deeply from the principles of abstract expressionism. Each piece she creates is not only a personal expression but also an invitation for viewers to experience beauty in a new way—to see beyond the surface and tap into the deeper emotions and imagination that her work evokes.​
